First check if the soil is moist. If the soil is dried, water the plant. One of the best way to do this is to leave the plant in the shipping bag and add about half cup of water. Let it soak for several minutes and discard the water.

For the majority of our plants, we generally recommend transplanting to a larger container first. This helps to develop a larger root system for growing in your flower bed.

It is best to situate your new plant in a location with partial sunlight. It's been in the dark for a few days, this will help your plant acclimate to the new environment.
